WHAT WE DO

Our workshops bring communities together through writing for wellbeing and creative expression, helping participants build confidence, nurture self-expression, and feel a sense of belonging.

Linked to social prescribing, the sessions gently introduce poetry as an accessible art form for everyone. Participants explore creativity through reading, writing, and optional performance, with opportunities to share their work at local events and the Where the Light Begins Festival alongside professional poets.

WHY CHOOSE US?

Our programmes foster confidence, hope, and connection within the community.

  • Inclusive and flexible: Weekly sessions or 90-minute tasters

  • Expert facilitators: Experienced in delivering accessible creative workshops

  • Optional performance opportunities: Engage with local events at your own pace

  • Wellbeing-focused: Encourages creativity, self-expression, and social connection
